1001? Yes. Why not 101? 

The number 1001 is a combination of two very powerful numbers, 1 and 0, married in a way that signifies a beginning related to a spiritual journey. Is this truly the beginning of your spiritual journey? No. We each embark on many journeys within this and other lifetimes. Each of these journeys join together to create our unique spiritual awakening, so it's a beginning, rather than the beginning. If you were drawn to this course because this number peaked your interest, or because you were intuitively led here for any reason, then welcome. And if it seems as though it just popped up in your life without any intuitive guidance, then this is your first lesson in learning how to recognize the signs along your path.

Additionally, I have not labeled this course as 101 is because we tend to judge this number as only for beginners. In reality, we are all beginners and we are all experts in our own experience. So if you are worried that you won't be able to keep up, or that you've likely already read the books we will discuss or done the activities already, don't be. There are many books on my shelf that I have read numerous times (some of which we will be exploring), and I learn something new every single time I pick them up.

This course will be held in person at various inspirational locations around Chicago's northside and is limited to 5 participants. The format will be small group discussion with guided activities, required readings (all books provided as part of the course fee), and individualized recommendations for further self-study. We will meet 3 times over 3 months to allow for ample time to practice and integrate your explorations.
