Is this you, boo?
It's time to stop pingponging back and forth between the toxic independence of “I’ll just do it myself” and the nourishing, but unproductive sinkhole of retreating into the wonderland of women's circles.
You are a woman and an entrepreneur.
Does this mean you are destined to dance with burnout while navigating the very male centered business world so you can gather the knowledge you need and then crash into radical rest to integrate it all over and over and over until you one day miraculously crack the code and no longer need anything from anyone to actually get shit done and live your most healthy, wealthy, fulfilling lifestyle?
Please take a breath now.
Straighten your crown, and remember who the fuck you are.
You are a badass.
You have accomplished more this morning than most people you know have thought about getting done this week.
But that doesn’t mean you have to do this alone.
Being really good at a lot of things can be lonely as fuck.
Let's be real for a moment...
You are generally the smartest, most creative person in the room.
You try to engage with others through networking events and social gatherings, like you know you are supposed to, but quite frankly, they are boring.
You are passionate about your business, and you want to talk about it.
This IS how you are… why do people keep asking “but how are YOU”?!?!
Listen, I see you.
I AM you.
I have the cape and fancy big girl panties to match.
I have the vision, the ambition, and the inner drive to get it all done.
And I powered through it as a solo act for longer than I'd like to admit.
I crashed and burned and picked myself back up a million times.
I lied to myself, thinking that if I could just push through a little bit longer, it would all click into place and be totally worth it.
But here's the problem with that theory, and you know it too, because you have been to the same spiritual retreats I have.
Abundance does not thrive in burned-out, stress-ridden states of being.
Progress does not occur within panic.
Magic happens in the moments of flow.
Flow occurs within a peaceful state.
And your body won't be fooled by your fake it till you make it mind tricks.
It's time to do things differently.
Instead of toxic independence, let's try aligned accountability, supported exploration, and YOU first planning and strategy.
Let's gather together with other motivated, multi passionate visionaries who are equally savvy business women and masters of their own magic so we can learn and grow together.
Let's light this shit up!
You’re not going to love it here if…
You are a Secret Scorekeeper
You are in secret competition with everyone you meet. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about some healthy competition. I'm a middle child of 4 siblings; need I say more? But I also witnessed a lot of gross behavior in the corporate world that was completely unnecessary. If you can't sit in a room full of powerful women and be genuinely excited to see them succeeding, no matter your current state of experience, you will stand out like a sore thumb.
You are Independent to a Fault
You need a safety bubble of silence to be productive. My brain is neurocreative too and sometimes I really need silence in order to think. But I also benefit so much from working in the same space as others. In all honesty, it took me a while to find my groove with co-working. Sometimes I litterly needed to find my groove: headphones on, playlist popping, everyone on mute. Now I simultaneously facilitate different experiences in different rooms while also doing my own work and am more productive than ever. I'm not saying you need to jump straight into an advanced level like this, but if you’re not open to stepping outside your comfort zone, you’ll miss the magic that happens on the other side of it.
You're Stuck in Done-For-You Dependency
I've already spoken to all the chronic DIYers out there; now let's roast the Done For You addicts. I get it, I really do. I'm a menopausal woman in my mid-forties running multiple businesses, and the hardest question I have to answer every day is "What is for dinner tonight?" Sometimes you just want someone else to do the heavy lifting. But while quick fixes are helpful in certain situations, I caution you not to build your business with duct tape and shoestrings and expect it to support the thriving lifestyle you actually desire. You have to give it time. Not passive, wait around for things to magically work themselves out, but devoted, intentional, time spent taking aligned actions.
You're Only Looking for Drive-By Visibility
Although this space uses the same tools as other platforms you've experienced, we do not use them in the same way. The magic of Mingle! really does happen in the Zoom rooms. We show up as real people. You will get to know my cats and see the inside of my refrigerator. Someone will be in their bathrobe or be midway through braiding their hair. Someone's child will be hungry. Someone will be driving or have you in their pocket while they are walking. If you are expecting to show up in a room full of hundreds of people waiting to receive your elevator pitch and immediately purchase your offer, you should keep looking for your community. We are small business owners, doing our work in the same space, getting to know each other organically, and it is through these experiences that we become devoted clients, excited collaborators, and genuine power partners.
You Are Unwilling to Outgrow What You Already Know
We’re known for doing things inside out, upside down, and backwards from what’s considered the norm in business. Our members often tell us we "break their brains" and then lovingly help them reinvent their vision in a more aligned and innovative way. If you are deeply dedicated to everything you've been told and sold in the pile of unfinished courses, certifications, and gobs of social media advice that you've consumed as the only way forward, keep it moving. Everything you've learned is important and has some value, but curiosity is the name of the game here. come with an open mind, open heart, and healthy dose of wonder, and you will instantly feel at home.
