About the Event

Over the course of 5 weeks, we will explore 5 different creative practices, allowing space for you to explore them daily between our group calls.

Week 1: Zentangle

Short on time, but need a reminder to be present, slow down, and go with the flow? This is the perfect practice for you! In times of stress, we can easily get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget that even pausing to take 3 deep breaths can quickly shift our nervous system from fight/flight/freeze into rest and restore.

This practice uses only paper and a pen, so it's easy to do anytime or anywhere! It's all about breaking spaces down into smaller, manageable chunks which helps you foster patience, increase mindfulness, and train your nervous system to return easefully into a restful state, even in seemingly chaotic environments.

Week 2: Sensory Sketches

What difference would it make in your life if you could clearly articulate your emotions and make more confident decisions? Sensory sketches will help you do both!

This practice strengthens your mind/body connection as you expand your awareness of the sensations present at any given time in your body, and play with various ways to express them with your art supplies. It's a great practice for increasing your emotional intelligence and connecting deeper with the wisdom of your body.

Week 3: Neurographic Art

Did you know that you can rewire your brain and disempower limiting beliefs? Even more exciting, it's not a complicated process, can be lots of fun, and is super calming.

This practice helps you to create new neuropathways—the route information travels from your brain through your body and back and tells your body how to react based on the information being processed in your brain. When attempting to create a new habit or belief, we must first create space for it to grow, and this practice helps you do just that!

Week 4: Blind Contour Body Landscapes

Self-love is a term that has become increasingly popular over the last few decades. We are repeatedly reminded about the importance of loving ourselves unconditionally, but rarely given tangible tools to help us figure out how.

This practice is about getting to know and love our bodies exactly as they are. It is about allowing ourselves to be fully present with what is and softening our relationship with our imperfections. It is an act of conscious transformation through creative expression. It is one of the most powerful practices I've ever engaged in and I can't wait to share it with you.

Week 5: Intuitive Art-Making

Are you a fan of Tarot or oracle cards? Do you wish you had trustworthy a magic 8-ball that could help guide you through life and provide answers when you feel stuck?

What if I told you that you didn't need any of these tools because you can find all the guidance you need within your own creativity? This practice helps you tune into your intuition and bring forth information from the unseen realms of your inner knowing to help you navigate your life and make decisions. The more you engage in this practice, the more confident you become in interpreting it and taking aligned action.
